Born and raised in Woodland Hills, within the greater Los Angeles area in CA, USA. I started showing my creative side during elementary school. My father was working at Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasadena, CA as an Engineer on the Mars Mariner and Apollo Lunar Module programs. While I was in Jr. High School, he advised me to major in Design Drafting as the field to get into, and so for my father I did that.

I finished college with a degree in Technical Drafting and found myself right smack-dab in the middle of Space and Missile Systems Organization (SAMSO) on an Air-Force Base in El Segundo, CA working as an Illustrator, of all things. I realized this kind of work was so much more fulfilling and satisfying and decided to get myself into the Commercial Art field (that's what it was called back then).

But Life happened and I found myself having raised two children and with over 12 years of Department Of Defense work and 13 years of Aviation and private/ commercial experience under my belt, I wasn't finding the creative stimulation at the Boeing company in Renton, WA. The 9/11 tragedy really put the kibosh on my career and then I was faced with that proverbial question: "What am I going to do when I grow up?"

I floundered for quite awhile at odd jobs and then I decided to go back to school and rediscovered my first true love, Graphic Design. And now, here I am in the middle of my life ready to reboot my new career!
